I was an idiot and took next to no photos the entire week so I don't have much to share.
A majority of the week was spent at the RMIT Brunswick campus for a short course in Fashion Design and Folio Preparation. Although the course was interesting, by the end of the week I came to the conclusion that I would be better suited to studying at FBI next year instead.
"FBI?!" you say?
No, not the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
The FBI I'm referring to is the Fashion Business Institute in Sydney
(but I'd be lying if I said that I wasn't looking forward to telling people that I'm working with the FBI).
Another highlight of Melbourne was the ACMI Tim Burton Exhibition
(Worth a flight to Melbourne, you'll want to go and see this before it ends in October)
And last but not least- The Croft Institute.
The Croft is a bar hidden down creepy back-alleys somewhere in the Melbourne CBD. Don't ask me where, I would have no idea. I was too freaked out to remember how I actually got there.
Drinks are served through large plastic syringes and the venue is decked out like an abandoned mental asylum. If you're lucky enough to be female, you are able to enjoy the creepy gurney bed in the bathroom.
Amazing.
